Printing Inc. FTP Information

Printing Inc. offers the option to our customers to upload files to us electronically via FTP. We are happy to create a password protected folder for individual customers who plan on using this service regularly. Or, if you only need to occasionally use this service, we have a public folder available.

If you are interested in using our FTP services you'll need to call our Customer Service Department to obtain our host address and get a user name and password.

You'll need compression software and an ftp client. You can find out more information about these items on our tips page.

If you plan on sending us large files (multiple MB) you should, ideally, have a broadband internet connection of some type (T-1, DSL, cable, ISDN, etc.). While it is perfectly possible to upload files over a dial-up connection, it is very slow. A 20 MB file may take several hours to complete.
